This is of course a snapshot, not an an exhaustive list. Still, you may find a repeating pattern:
Someone says "would it not be great if we did....?" other people agree or comment, and after a while the discussion is abandoned.
Very few ideas mature to some kind of implementation - that is only natural, but it also means that some similar ideas are proposed time and again and no-one ever takes responsibility for driving an idea a far as it will go. Even a great ideas will only proceed if there is a serious team emerging to drive it.
