Can anyone vouch for this company? I'm hesitant because they don't seem to be widely used here, however their small quantities makes them attractive.

YES! New Star Nootropics are a fantastic company, and the owner is a genuinely great guy. I've bought from them numerous times now and have only had excellent results.

I don't think they have too many reviews around here because they are quite new. There was a positive thread about them on reddit recently. I'll see if I can pull it up for you.

I have ordered from New Star several times, Noopept in particular, and have had very good results. I buy in 10 gram quantities, and the product really seems excellent and reasonably priced. The quality control appears to be good and the batches seemed very consistent in terms of quality and quantity. I use Noopept as part of my daily stack, and I will continue to use New Star. So far, I don't have any reason to not do so. In addition, the turn-around and shipping are really quick. I found the product well-packaged and on my door step in very short order, usually within 3 days, and I am in CT. Anyway, I figured I would add my two cents worth because I've been really happy with my exchanges with NS thus far. I bought from them blind, but I am glad I did.

I am not associated with New Star Nootropics, I just registered to this forum, but I have used this forum from google searches to get some anecdotes about various nootropics.

I recently ordered 25 grams of Noopept powder from them and as far as I can tell the Noopept is legitimate. The powder is legitimate in my opinion because previously I bought two bottles of CTD Noopept oral dissolve tablets online and in comparing the two products, the effects feel the same.
In addition, those CTD tablets are nice because they are in dissolvable tablet, but you only get 50 pills per bottle with 10mg per pill, hence each bottle contains 500mg of Noopept for $24.

Currenly, I just bought some aniracetam powder from New Star Nootropics because I was impressed with the potency of the Noopept powder. I have purchased nootropics from Smartpowders in the past but was attracted to New Star's lower prices and higher quantities. If I remember, I will post on how the Aniracetam powder turns out, hopefully it will be more potent than the anirecetam from smartpowders, which I consider pretty effective and potent but I do not like the way Smartpowders packages the powders.

I personally consider myself a ruthless bargain hunter and from the best of my knowledge, Newstar Nootropics has the lowest Noopept and Aniracetam prices, comparing them to some other venders I have seen on the internet and have bought from, plus the free fast shipping is always a plus for me.

I'll go with the approving posts above. I found New Star Nootropics just by comparative shopping. Like pujarze, looking for the best deal, and/or who they are and what they're offering.

We started New Star Nootropics in late October. We are genuinely dedicated to quality, and have been testing our racetam powders at 3rd party labs as funds allow. The first tests came in today and were excellent, allowing us to replace many of the dubious manufacturer COAs that we had displayed. For the geeky among us, we also ordered the chromatograms for our Nefiracetam, Oxiracetam, & Pramiracetam; those will be posted shortly.

We updated them today to include the chromatograms. Each compound was assayed individually against a reference sample from a US chemical supplier. Then, the compounds were tested for heavy metals (arsenic, lead, cadmium, & mercury) as a combined sample. A combined sample isn't ideal, but it still goes further than most vendors who rely only on manufacturer COAs that are likely to be bogus. Future tests will likely include individual heavy metal analysis. Page 3 and 4 of each PDF are the chromatograms. The first chromatogram is the test result for our product. The final chromatogram is for the 3 tests that are performed on the reference sample.

I don't know how I missed that. Still better than the plastic bags imo.

Our packaging varies between the racetams. We are always on the lookout for improvements, so the following may change over time. At the present time, this is what we are doing:

Aniracetam & Piracetam - Plastic jars that are usually dark amber in color.
Noopept - Always packaged in dark colored glass jars or vials. Usually amber, occasionally cobalt blue.
Pramiracetam, Oxiracetam, & Nefiracetam - Varies between glass vials (5 to 10 grams) and glass or plastic jars (25g+).

All jars or vials have some kind of tamper-evident feature. We had been using pressure seals ("sealed for your protection") but after finding that loose powders can sometimes get on the rim of the jar during filling and thus interfere with the glue that binds the seal to the jar, we have been switching to shrink bands.

All I am saying is that the plastic looked cheap. Do you have a good company? I think so. Is what you sell affordable? Yes.

But the plastic jars are pure ghetto - with scratches and everything. Just makes me wonder if there's plastic residues in my powder. It's a genuine concern and not my cup of tea.

To say it's glass is utterly untrue, lol.

We were using a cheaper plastic for a while. But we have very recently upgraded to a jar with a level of thickness that is far more luxurious, with a much deeper amber color and a nicer lid . It is hard to beat the containers that we are currently using. There are some photos up at the website.

It is important to clarify a statement you have posted on the front page of your website which states and I quote:

"New Star is currently the only US vendor of Racetams with a firm commitment towards testing all of our products for purity and contaminants in 3rd party, US-based laboratories."

Testing by an FDA registered analytical labotratory for mg per capsule of active ingredient, mold, yeast, microbial and a metals panel is conducted on every new manufacting run and tied by lot number to the product currently shipping to our customers.

I applaud your desire to offer some measure of QC to your customers, however the facts support a correction of the statement on your website. Some Longecity (ImmInst) readers will recall Relentless Improvement as a very long time supporter and sponsor of the Nootropic/Supplement Forums here.

Got an order from them a couple of days ago. All bottles were sealed. 250G piracetam bottle had shrink sealing around the lid and smaller bottles had heat seals under the cap. All bottles were glass or plastic and tinted. I have noticed that the pramiracetam had a small packet of what I assume to be a desiccant, the others may have this too I just haven't used enough of them to see the packet yet. Each bottle was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and all were placed in a small cardboard box. This was placed in a standard over-sized USPS envelope which was very discreet. There was a custom printed invoice on some really cool plastic/vinyl paper detailing the entire contents of the shipment with a hand written smiley face and thank you. I ordered late on a Thursday evening and my order was delivered Saturday morning. I am on the other side of the country from them so this was kinda impressive. shipping was cheap too. I wanna say like 5 bucks. I had a shipment confirmation within 90 minutes of placing my order online. Again, I ordered at like 8P.M. so their on top of their game when it comes to order processing. Overall very pleased with new star nootropics and would recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing supplies. They have some cool deals and combo packs in their web store as well.

I agree. I'm pleased with the company as well - especially the customer service.

I reordered and the plastic was excellent. I will continue to reorder because I don't see a competitor out there providing smart powders at a better quality and a lower price.

I just received an order of 5g Noopept from New Star. Ordered on the 28th, shipped on the 30th, and it arrived today, so 10 days from purchase to doorstep (in Canada). Packaging is very professional, and I must say I like these little glass jars that they sent it in. They also sent a 15-20mg scoop, but I'd like more precision in my dosing so I'll have to wait until my scale arrives from China before I try the product itself.

I ordered mine on the 22nd, it shipped on the 23rd, still hasn't arrived. Tracking number has data up until it was processed at a USPS facility in Los Angeles, but nothing after that. The tracking number isn't recognized on canadapost.ca either, so no luck there.
