Is piracetam now illegal in the US?

I was looking into the piracetam business and called ebay and asked if i could list piracetam and they said "No the US Gov has told us to stop allowing the sale of piracetam"

I then triend to use piracetam in a google adwords and they wont allow the word,

what is the word?

An ebay representative called me and removed a listing i had he spoke with me on the phone telling me i cant list this item.

It's not on any DEA Schedules, so it isn't illegal, and the DEA can't enforce any laws relating to it.

All you've got is the fairly toothless FDA lashing out with a warning letter at the occasional vendor, and likely overly paranoid lawyers at ebay and google deciding they don't want any part of it as company policy.

Yea Piracetam is still completely legal in the USA. I've contacted vendors in the past regarding how their piracetam had been removed, and from what they told me it was simply "not allowed". The vendor said that it's more than likely caused by the FDA doing as the previous poster has said, and pretty much strong armed eBay to remove the racetam for pretty much no reason at all.

Big Pharma *shakes fist at the sky.*
