Third Eurosymposium on Healthy Ageing (EHA)
29 September - 1 October, 2016
Royal Library, Brussels (Belgium)
The Eurosymposium on Healthy Ageing (EHA) is a biannual conference organized for the first time in 2012 by the European non-profit organization Heales. This meeting will highlight the cutting-edge of knowledge in the field of biogerontology and provide a unique opportunity for researchers, government officials, biotech executives, and longevity advocates from around the world to meet, network, and forge new scientific collaborations.
This year we have over 20 scientific lectures scheduled and 3 panel sessions. The two keynote lectures will be given by prof. Alexander Seifalian (University College London, UK) and prof. David Gems (University College London, UK). As always the third day will be devoted to activism. A major topic on the third day this year will be the effort to have ageing recognized as a disease (see for example: http://journal.front...15.00205/full).
