I went to my 20th college reunion. I think my diet, supplements, and exercise are keeping me youthful--a number of people commented that I looked almost the same as I looked when we graduated, or that compared with others I seemed hardly to have aged. (On the other hand, there could be a chicken-or-the-egg problem: maybe I'm into life extension / immortality partly because I see I'm aging well, or that diet, supplement, and exercise interventions have a positive effect for me in particular.) I drove out to the reunion with a guy who was going to his 25th and two who were going to their 5th. The guy going to his 25th seemed ready to believe I was also going to my 5th.
I've found a couple of interesting stores in my new town: one that has many varieties of tea (I'm trying to drink more white tea instead of green tea because of concerns over the high fluoride content of green tea), and another that has in addition to many supplements, actual roots and powders in bulk. I actually have a bag of ashwagandha roots now--previously I'd only found powder or capsules.
