Keeping this month’s intro brief, May marked a significant milestone for the CLA as we finally finished our post incorporation legal obligations, meaning that we can move onto doing what we want to do - help increase everybody’s healthy longevity! In the Round-Up, you’ll find a few more actionable results relating to exercise, collagen peptides and creatine, as well as hints about the potential benefit of rapamycin and GlyNAC. Plenty more interesting studies can be found in the supplemental section. Happy reading!

CLA News
May marked a significant milestone for the CLA as we finally completed all of the legal requirements following incorporation. This included an initial set of organising resolutions, bylaws and setting up a board of directors. To save money, I had tried to do this all myself, but ended up chasing my own tail and discovering new levels of anxiety, so finally went to a law firm specialising in non-profit law.
I would like to thank Andrew Clubine and B.I.G. Charity Law Group for their advice and help in getting us over the finish line.
I would also like to welcome Bulat Gayfullin, Dmitry Kaminskiy, Laura Minquini and Todd White to the board. I just need to organise that first board meeting now…
It is such a relief to finally get this all done and shift our focus to accomplishing our mission.
[size=4][font=arial][color=rgb(0,0,0)][background=transparent]The first immediate impact is that we can now open a bank account and start taking donations. That should happen next week, so I will be able to share details in the next newsletter - get your chequebooks ready!
