July 2023 Longevity Review
supplements longevity nad+ nmn resveratrol rapamycin klotho exercise
As you hopefully relax and idle away the sultry summer season, the publishing of longevity studies continues unabated. July saw the first use of the longevity factor klotho in older primates, and the first time lifespan extension has been shown in heterochronic parabiosis (the co-joining of young & old mice), not to mention similar lifespan extension for rats given young extracellular vesicles, as well as further advances in chemical partial reprogramming and a study showing that happiness is great for longevity - so make sure that you do what you love this summer!
There was also a bevy of exercise studies out this month, so make sure you check out the supplemental section for them, if you don’t intend to simply idle the summer away…
Finally, the CLA’s setup culminated with the launch of our donations page. It’s been a long journey!
