Caliban U R Killing This Site

I came here to blog about some stuff that's bothering me. Instead of finding solace, I happened upon some more of my posts that had been crapped on by the newer reputation system. They were perfectly good posts. The crapping was illegitimate. In one case, Big Pharma shills were the obvious suspects, although we have a host of misogynists and people with Mommy problems, addictions and unhealthy diets who take advantage of the feedback system to disparage innocent people who set them off. Formerly, those people co-existed more peacefully with others here. Common sense tells us that anonymous insults dispatched at the touch of a button will take down this site. There is nothing good about anonymous feedback. We already have screen names and that is enough. Participation is down about 90% from a few years ago. This place used to rock. I got a lot out of it, both healthwise and emotionally. The decline makes me sad. There is no way to salvage the reputation system. It needs to be scrapped. Caliban, you are killing this site.
