The moment was right. Long awaited. I finally dyed my hair. I did my best. I got a lot of things right, but there are some spots I missed, unfortunately. I do look 200 % better. It was a huge accomplishment. Waist length hair, two or three times a thick as most people. I got the color right. Most mistakes avoided. Whew! It's disappointing that it's not a complete triumph but I did apply myself 100%. Feeling better. Can't believe I did that. I mostly cleaned up after it too, and no caffeine. Not quite laid up in bed, either.
Last night I was at the beach and a little four year old angel came toward me with a plate of hot food. Her father had noticed me sitting there with my wheelchair and sent her over. People here can be so considerate of the elderly and people with physical challenges. Better than the cold dinner I had with me. I ate it gratefully. The full moon rose over a dip in the horizon. I stayed in the park until everyone left.
Today after the hair adventure, I went out for some much deserved Mexican food. Parking was an adventure. They don't need no stinking architects to plan the parking lots in this town. Luckily, I have a black belt in parking. A new healthy, affordable Mexican place has opened near the University. They are a hit. Watch your back, Chipotle. Got some free guacamole on my food, not sure how, not that I'm asking. What happened to the purple velvet Sombrero that was hanging from the sign outside? Now there's just a string mysteriously cut off.
