I saw a rainbow in a rainless sky. It ended where I was going.
I loaded my car with my new purple wheelchair and matching backpack. Had my books and food assembled. A neighbor I don't see every day was in the garage. We got in an extended conversation about the building. Unusually, she asked me where I was going. She told me not to leave because of a storm warning which is for tomorrow night. She is very law abiding, coming from Northern Europe. I explained my take on the govmint and their storm warnings. Then I left. Traffic was light.
Trying to settle down and write something in this foreign environment. I honestly think I'd be better off it we still used typewriters. I'd type a hundred words a minute now. First I tried one computer; it was too high up for my new wheelchair. I tried another, but it was slow. The computer tells me that I'm doing a certain thing wrong. I don't know how to do it right, and by the time I figure it out, it will be changed. Now I'm on my third computer and it's not optimal.
It was more quiet than usual there but the people here are yelling clapping and cheering. I hate that.
I just tried to publish this but the computer's internet connection dropped for a minute.
