Had some good news. Something had been rescheduled so I didn't miss it. Whew! Seems like my efforts did pay off after all. In spite of those efforts, however, I don't feel as clear and light as I should today. Have a headache like rubber bands on my head. Maybe I'm consuming too much acidic stuff and not enough raw food and juices for my current routine? I tried the best I can with the food supply. Again, I should have having good luck and smooth sailing, according to what I believe.
Used a weight machine. That went well. Went out to health food store. All parked up. People everywhere on the sidewalk too. Incredible number of cars entering the parking lot, one after the other. That doesn't normally happen, just humanity everywhere in this ordinary neighborhood. Did get into get my health food. Carrot juice frozen, second time in a week. I went to a shopping center. In spite of the fact that Christmas is over, and it's a weekday, there was less parking than during Christmas. I spotted a car leaving but someone beat me to it. The fact that I was singing along to country songs on my radio split my concentration. Saw three females heading to their car. I could just tell they were the kind who weren't on the row they had parked in. Sure enough, they cut through to the next row. I could just tell they had a parking spot parallel to the wall, which I don't like as much. They did. I knew they would take forever to leave. If there are about three steps to getting in your car and leaving, they found twenty. What even is that? They didn't have baby carriages or anything. Eventually they left.
In a coffee place there was a long line. Seems like a lot of Asian nationals are in town on vacation right now. There was a rack of baked goods blocking my wheelchair. A customer from Asia moved something so I could get through. Someone wanted to buy stuff out of the rack instead of what was in the glass case. They said that it wasn't defrosted yet (Why so many frozen baked goods? And more importantly, why do people put up with that?) I got some hot water for my chamomile tea. I went to drink it and eat my dinner. Just upwind of the pleasant outdoor seating at the coffee place smokers sat on the edge of a planter. Sigh. I went to find some seating elsewhere. I found some benches. A thirtyish military man was sitting on one of them outside a department store, looking annoyed. I guess he was waiting for his wife. I took the other bench.
When I left the mall, an obese uneducated looking young man was smoking next to his car under the garage roof, which is illegal. The mall does nothing to enforce this law. The smoking earlier is probably illegal too. Surprisingly the car in question was a midnight blue antique Mercedes. How did that happen?
I came to where I am now. The person next to me was parked touching the line between our spaces, which happens a lot here. Restriping would help as would people who like to use this space getting smarter.
At first I had some trouble finding where to sit. Someone smelled like pee, among other issues. Then there was an African guy with a loud voice, red eyes and possibly other problems lecturing another guy. This lay preacher had a lot to say about a pure lifestyle and not cheating on your wife, etc. I'm pretty sure that the preacher needed the message more than the other guy. Normally no one is talking here. I asked the guy to keep his voice down and he did.
Then I started to write.
