Out the door at 7:20 a.m. instead of 3 p.m., no caffeine. There was a lot of traffic, going fast to get places. A guy stopped in the middle of a busy street to let his kid off at nursery school. I looked for a reputed second location of the Japanese carwash. It wasn't there. I was told repeatedly that is was just a few buildings down from the main branch. There was no such thing! They also acted like I was a slob because I didn't want to pay $180 to have my car shampooed. They take the car seats out. I guess that's a good thing too because they always miss dirt between the seat and the gearshift, as well as several other places that have no connection to the seats. I have taken my car there because other places have been worse but they are ridiculous.
I was driving around looking for somewhere to eat breakfast other than the chain of diners we have here. I found nothing. When I got to the diner two delivery trucks and a garbage truck were in the parking lot. I had to drive around looking for a space. I thought the before work crowd would be gone. They were, but all the elderly people were out.
This diner, well, shall I just say I had to especially request a clean table? Their breakfasts always come to about $15.00 including everything. After that I came to this mall. I wanted to eat sugar and rich food, but I decided to be good today. The sausage, biscuits and gravy and potatoes & apples in the Whole Foods breakfast buffet sure did look good though. Now I know.
Lots of elderly people in the mall; they are gracious.
I made a phone call to an elderly friend who has cognitive problems to try and help her get more of some herbal medicine I had found for her. She went off the deep end and decided I was trying to rip her off, although I've been more than helpful and patient. It took about ten extra steps to deliver the first batch to her because she is so dysfunctional. She had asked for more, but today decided I was part of a nerfarious plot to rip her off. Yesterday, I gave my drinking water to her dog.
For several years, we always got along well. She and her dog were the only people I currently see in person on a regular basis. She didn't remember that much, but was always pleasant. Until now.
Wow. I tried to do someone a favor, and I lost my friend and her little dog too. Is that what happens when you are active before 3:00? Is it the morning's fault? I don't remember talking to her early in the day before. She thinks her son is trying to rip her off too. She thinks her moved her purse around, while leaving large sums of cash inside intact. When I asked how that would work, she said he was stashing the whole purse for later by hanging it on a hanger inside a raincoat, for instance. She said her son was in town now, staying elsewhere, but she was worried. Maybe that's how I got tarred with that one. Yuck! God can you remove this from me and ask her to realize the truth and apologize? I don't want this to happen again or I will look for friendship elsewhere.
I know one thing, I surely don't deserve this. I feel abused and there's no one there to complain to because this person isn't all there.
I called a support line about that.
I made a call to a health food/supplement company and placed an order for $280 and change. Wow! That's something. They have some issues processing payments properly. If I go elsewhere it could cost a thousand or two more a year.
I got my lunch from Whole Foods but I had to get the steamed broccolini from California Pizza Kitchen because Whole Foods doesn't have any decent vegetables.
I'm out and about.
