Heard an amazing cover of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" by Jimi Hendrix on the radio.
I got a lot of stuff done, down the list, made two healthy meals, post office, bank (was there for over an hour), sensitive phone call, could not do at home, broiling in the sun by the side of the road in a payphone-poor suburb. It's a planned community. I guess they planned the poor people out of it. But I did it. That took about half an hour. Then I went to the library and did some computing. Then I went to the Boat House* and got a burger and ate it in my car with veggies. I noticed I had gotten a sunburn. I noticed that this drug dealer who I would rather not see around was at the Boat House. I went to a park to get some aloes to put on my sunburn. The drug dealer was there too with her friends and family, a beach day for them. Five days ago, I was parking near a park, relaxing in my car and she drove up and parked behind me and did a drug deal with her friends and they got drunk. One of them was another person I don't like. They both work different places that I frequent. I guess she is the source of the contagion. It sucks. I don't want to see her anymore, or him either. I want to break this spell. Break it. Go our separate ways. The other guy was so rude and surly, and of course stoned, that I was thinking of writing to the head of that company but now I'm thinking about that. The drug problem where I live just sucks, and overpopulation does too, and mismanaged companies, for that matter.
I left there and came here. The guy at the computer next to me was the guy I wrote about earlier in the Mystery of the Matzohs. He just said hello like nothing was wrong. I didn't recognize him at first so I did too. How weird is that? Then he finished computing and left.
I was looking forward to being in that park today after my errands but it didn't work out that way. I hate the music in the Apple store. It sucks.
