somebody buy me a computer!
I went to the library to write a letter for a person in need. It begins immediately. The A/C isn't working, hasn't been working for a week. They don't know when it will work. There's three computers close together. I try to sit on the one on the end to leave an empty one between me and the other person. But that one doesn't have word processing. What did it do wrong? Finding the options on the computer isn't easy. Every time Word updates it becomes less user-friendly. Unusually, the person next to me was sane, intelligent and bathed. He was able to answer a couple of questions. I had a couple of my own. What are you doing here? Are you as sick of this shit as I am?
It looked like my work somehow hadn't been saved, but after some drama it turned out it was. When I printed, I had to walk forty feet to where the printer was. They have room for a printer where the word-processing computers are but say they can't afford a printer for those computers. They just spent 10 and a half million dollars on tearing down and building a new library where they already had a good one. When I got to the printer they said they had changed it to another printer even further away. The letters weren't there. Someone else had picked them up by mistake, with someone's personal business on them, but brought them back, thankfully. The masturbator was there on the computer by itself (naturally), but he wasn't masturbating. Thank the Lord. The letters had printed out with streaks all over them. When that was sorted out I had to walk another hundred foot round trip to print them out again.
I was going to switch to the internet computers but I decided I had to get out of there. I had written up a good letter and I felt kind of like an adult, but I was pushing away the feeling of being a peon brought on by the abusive library system. I didn't want to feel that way. A voice had told me to go to Kinko's. I guess that was right. I did some good advocacy for the person I am trying to help, I think. It's good to do something.
I came to the mall. It feels good not to be in the damn library! Fuck them and their bullshit. There's a couple of rowdy people in the Apple store but it somehow feels less like a miasma.

If you have been blessed financially and are looking for a way to give back, I could use money for a computer and printer. I would love to hear from you. I am a low income disabled person. Please send me a message. I am not on here every day but I will respond as soon as possible. Thanks.
