I'm in the library on some brand new LeNovo ThinkPads. They have also imbued each library with WiFi. The system rejected my first five attempts to check in. Eventually I suceeded on the second computer I tried. If I type too quickly the screen may go blank. If I try to alter an e-mail draft the cursor may jump around within the e-mail. After the third try it takes. Bing is the default search engine.
I was here a few days ago and the desk top computer I tried didn't work. The "tech" person had just been out and "fixed" it. Only it wasn't. I've seen that before. There's a guy about a foot and a half from me on the next computer. The librarians have about eight feet between their computers. How about instead of having WiFi which is everywhere, they spend the money on better computers for people that don't have them? I'm guessing their WiFi sucks anyway.
If you have been blessed financially and want to buy me a computer, please do. I am not here everyday but I would get back to you as soon as possible.
