Nanofair 2003 Starts: Thursday, November 20, 2003 Ends: Friday, November 21, 2003 Location: Dresden, Germany
Nanofair promotes the exchange of information between people from industry and universities actively involved in developing applications of nanotechnology. The scope of the symposium is nanotechnology in automotive, electronics, life sciences, materials and optics.
The breakthrough of small particles with high growth potentials has begun. Nanotechnology is applied in microelectronics, where the size of the structures is in the nanometer region. One of the hot-spots in Europe is Dresden, the home of industries such as Infineon and AMD, the location for this years Nanofair.
Lectures will be given by internationally renowned speakers and sufficient time will be available for discussions in order to identify challenging problems and possible research and technology transfer projects. Activities initiated by the participants are highly welcomed and are a prerequisite for the success of this workshop.
