Hi, I'm looking at formulating my own Nootropic blend for my first time. I'm basically going to be mixing some formula's from Nootropics I've tried over the last 2-3 years. I did some searching and have seen mixed information for online vendors. It appears most people recommend the following sites. I'm curious which one has the best quality. I'm more interested in quality vs price. These are the 3 sites I'm currently considering for my purchase. I noticed nootropicsdepot.com gives 10% off your first order if you sign up for their newsletter. Thanks for any opinions / suggestions on these sites or any others!

1) http://nootropicsdepot.com

2) http://www.powdercity.com

3)https://newmind.com

4) https://www.ceretropic.com > Says cc processing is down so probably won't be using them since I don't have bitcoin.

If anyone has any suggestions on adding some sort of flavoring to the noots to make them a little more palatable I would appreciate it. I'm thinking of buying some organic Monk Fruit to add to my mixture. I'm pretty excited to try my own formula in hopes I can get something that will allow me to get great focus and accelerate my learning and retention. :-)

I use BTCNootropics. Solid, good people. They are from the UK and (generally) ship out of India.

I have only taken Modavigil (now Modalert) and Wakalert.

Wakalert is VERY powerful. I literally just take GRAINS so I don't stay up all night! And it's potentiated with coffee! So I make sure to guzzle down a few ozs with my...grains! haha

But, speaking as a 62 yo man (just about), Modalert is a MIRACLE drug. It literally makes you smarter. Period. Clears the cobwebs that most guys get at that age. Have tested it ad infinitum. If it's a placebo, great. I'll gladly keep taking my 'placebo', if it allows me to be THAT much clearer in my thinking, any day of the week!

PS VERY interested in your protocol. What makes you think creating your own 'Dr. Frankenstein' potion is the answer. I'm not skeptical whatsoever, and would actually like to try whatever formulation your testing/research suggests produces optimal results.

Just wondering about your own history with nootropics and how you've come to realize that they REALLY do make a difference!

Wow, great info Doctor_L! I'll definitely look into your suggestions! Sounds flipping awesome! I'll get back with you on my formula as it's changing a little. I'll also post my experience but I'm tired now. Thanks again!

No Problem Doctor_L. I haven't put my formula together yet since I'm still finishing up some of my current nootropics. I hope to make my purchase by next weekend! I still need to study up on some of the noots i plan on using.
