Coming up this Friday is a follow up interview with BioViva CEO Liz Parrish!

Liz featured on one of our podcasts 2 years ago after she became one of the first people to attempt gene therapy, aiming to increase telomerase as well as taking a myostatin inhibitor. She is a pioneer in the fight against age related disease and recently partnered with IHS, meaning that gene therapy is gettingcloser to being available for everyone. This will be a very exciting update, we’ll be hearing all about her current achievements, future goals, directions, and ambitions.

If you have any questions let us know in the comments below!

Will be glad to see this update on Liz. (What I'd really like to see is an update on Sierra Science's telomerase-activator research... temporary activation seems much more controllable than adding a telomerase gene with a virus. Rodents have telomerase on all the time... but long-lived mammals don't.)

My question would be what percentage of cells will be affected by this treatment?

has she been getting her telomeres measured? will she have actual data to give us about how the therapy is affecting her body?

if its just a bunch of theory I am not interested.

The interview is complete. For those wanting to sign up through IHS, they are backlogged with too many requests, so it will take a while for them to get back to you (according to Liz). The podcast should be ready in a couple days.

I had my interview today but I am not expecting much luck from them. They want to see my scans but there really was not much to see on those if I had had a functional MRI it would have been different. Sigh.
They probably won't take me on and I'm spending all my savings. So this could be my last chance.
But I don't even think they'd help

If you're still in touch could you ask if it's ok to apply for general anti aging treatment. They were brushing aside the fact that I have bad SNPs on APP,PSEN2,CD33,CR1 and NLRP1 and APOE4. That I have memory loss snd that is worsening too.

I think these therapies are broadly applicable. I think they're looking to use you as a before and after example.

Here is the new podcast page with the recent Liz Parrish interview, which is quite informative about future directions of BioViva genetic engineering. http://www.longecity.org/podcast/
