You can buy Alive By Nature NAD & NMN Supplements for delivery to the UK & EU from nadlab.uk...

Although still out of most people price range, the Alive by Nature products seem the best value / £ per mg. 36 grams of NMN for £180 (£0.50 per 100mg, $0.67 / 100mg) is the best they have.

I've enquired with a number of UK based supplement manufacturers, to see if they can supply it in bulk with no luck other than those offering to contact their Chinese suppliers.

A manufacturer in the UK or EU would make a killing! If anyone knows any, please let me know!

ANB stopped selling the 36gs. Best value now is the 240 tablets for $150 which makes it $5/g.

Has anyone had experience with the Chinese sellers of NMN on Alibaba.com? They will provide offers of around $US1,300/kg for NMN. That is for “Food Grade”. Does anyone know if that is safe for humans? There is also a more expensive “Pharmaceutical Grade”.

Fact #1: Not all products are created equal Pharmaceutical Grade: What does it mean? There are basically three different grades of raw materials used in products. They fall into 3 categories: • Pharmaceutical Grade - meets pharmaceutical standards • Food Grade - meets standards set for human consumption • Feed Grade - meets standards set for animal consumption

Why do pharmaceutical grade supplements make me feel better than other supplements? In order to have a therapeutic effect, nutrients must be absorbed into your bloodstream. The extent to which they can be absorbed is referred to as their bio-availability. Differences in manufacturing create significant differences in bio-availability. Pharmaceutical grade nutrients are only manufactured in FDA registered facilities that follow cGMP, Certified Good Manufacturing Practices, protocol. This ensures the quality and purity of the supplement and allows Neurobiologix to guarantee compliance with the governing regulations.

I'm new here, so what seems to me to be an obvious approach may, in fact, be naive/uninformed nonsense! That disclaimer in place...

I've seen where there are "group buys" of other products direct from labs, why isn't there an effort to go this route with NMN? My understanding is that ABN is, in reality, a marketing company. They have a lab (a lab known to members here from my understanding) produce NMN for them in various forms and ABN sells it. Any worthwhile test of purity/COA is going to be from a 3rd party lab, so there's really no "value added" from ABN- or am I totally missing something here? I seem to recall from one of Sinclair's talks that NMN is not difficult to produce.

There are a lot of really bright people here-- which is why I've hesitated to even post this as it's not exactly an original thought that has alluded the group. I've searched quite a bit and failed to find such an effort to approach labs for a group buy...

I don't understand this either.  Especially since we could buy it from the same Chinese biotech companies as the companies on Amazon do, some for as little as a few hundred dollars per kilo. Some for less some for more.  There are dozens of companies that are eager to sell it to anyone.  Certainly we could get a group together and have a sample or two tested then make a buy and have that tested for purity.  I am convinced this is the way to go and that most of the companies that are selling on Amazon buy from these sources.  Instead of paying $5 or more per gram we could be paying fifty cents per gram.  This one lists kilos for from $100 to $300 and have pretty great reviews from all over the world.

https://sangherb.en....p.43009.dsrhbtn

I mean come on guys I don't need someone to tell me about the prices on Amazon,  Let's get together and make a group buy.

There was a thread on Longecity (I forget where)  with a guy who purchased a sample that tested good, but got sent nicotinamide for the quantity purchase.  He eventuallly got most of his money back, but went thru a very rough time with it.  Hopefully someone with a better memory than me can recall where that report is.

It would be great if you can find a deal that sells real stuff.  But I doubt anyone can sell it at 10% cost.  If so, the companies competing on Amazon wouldn't all be selling at the same retail price.

I would recommend looking at the largest companies that are offering it at a believable discount, like maybe 1/2 what the retail price is.

I am going to look into finding a company that will ship directly to a lab and be willing to allow the payment to be withheld until the NMN is verified.

This seems very unlikely unless you are going to buy tens of thousands of dollars worth of product and are willing to put the money in escrow. You would also have to engage a lawyer to write up a contract around this... None of which is cheap. A path with less friction is to ask for a sample telling them you will order more once the tests have verified the integrity of the product ;)

If the end goal is actually the sample then I'd agree but it's not unheard of to get a genuine sample and then supply something totally off-base in the large subsequent order.

For those looking to order here's some recent experience - according to UPS my 240 tablet order from ABN is finally in the country - I ordered on 13th of March and I'm expecting it to arrive sometime this week. 11 days of the delay were due to supply issues at ABN and the joys of international mail is the cause of the rest of the near month long quest.

Alive by Nature look to be reintroducing the 36 gram offer for the same price. Not 3 jars, just a larger tub. Not sure when it will be available to buy.

They look to have caught up after the rush too!

nadlab.uk have the 3 jar on offer currently.

There's a guy on YouTube documenting his "NMN journey" who claims to have purchased his NMN from China and had it tested in a third party lab. The first two he tried contained zero NMN however the third was the real deal! Testing these products is essential, that's why most look to US / UK / EU manufacturers.

I would definitely not recommend nadlab.uk as they have the same price as ABN except it's in English punds which is about 30% worth more than the US dollar. It seems ABN Is still by far the cheapest option.

I worked this out and with import and VAT it works out about the same if not a little cheaper.

With nadlab.uk there are guaranteed no issues/holdups at customs for UK & EU and free next day delivery to the UK too.

What's not to like!

yes, china is notorious for toxic fakes, but its not just them. the rest of the world is guilty too of trying to make quick easy profit whenver possible. FDA doesnt care to test any supplements on the market so its free for all to put whatever they wish and make profit. i used to know a guy who started selling supplements at gas stations with fake ingredients and he made a lot of profit until independent lab caught him and im not sure where he is now. as long as you dont sell toxic shit, you can get away with just rice powders for example. and do not ever make claims on packages to threat diseases or FDA might finally give a shit and check on you.

for NMN im pretty sure a lot of fakes out there even alive by nature cannot always test every single batch and make sure they are all valid for sell. that is suspecting they are honest businessmen and arent already adulterating their packages with various crap to put extra weight for profit. lots of big companies do it. Life Extension, a huge business, was caught recently adding more rice flour filler to their caps to make the weight and extra buck. New Chapter, again huge company, after their original founders left the company, they have been called with some adulterated products. i can keep going. even Nature Way was guilty of some fillers. of course as long as at least it contains 50% original ingredient, they wont be harassed by FDA or anyone.

but i guess i went over my head here trying to make my point across. i just dont trust to buy any NMN currently until i see some action from FDA, is what i want to put in conclusion. thanks for reading, and sorry for going a bit off topic here :/

Sorry JacFlasche, their cost per kg is not the real price. Double check with them, and ask about the cost of a small sample for analysis. Beware of paying more for a sample than the cost from ABN. I think you will find it is cheaper to get it made in USA, or DIY, it's really not hard (in my 'dunning kruger' imagination)

Hi,

I just found another supplier on Amazon:

"NUTRIVAL" offering 30x250mg caps (7.5g total) for EUR45.19  So about US$7 per gram.

Shipping from the UK.

Has anyone heard of them?

Any good?

Any better suppliers that will ship to EU (Austria) ?

Cheers!

+Leonard.

s-l1600.jpg

That report if for test of a raw ingredient.  It has no proof they put 500 mg per capsule.

Also, their label claims 500 mg NMN and zero filler, which is probably impossible to achieve.

For most products they say some filler is required to get it to flow into capsules. Pure NMN is very light and fluffy - at least the stuff I get from ABN is.

If they provide the test report that shows 500 mg NMN per capsule, you might have a winner there.  Until then, I'd file that under too good to be true.

Ebay seems even worse than Amazon for ability to keep fake stuff off the market.

A COA is useless.  All it proves is that the sample they submitted to a lab on that day conformed with that they said it was.  And that's if the lab is reputable and you contact them to confirm that the COA is authentic.  A COA on a website by itself is a mere image that is easily faked.

Having worked with Chinese firms as suppliers in another field, they are famous for sending conforming samples for you to test then degrading the product once you go to actual production.

If I were a supplement company sourcing compounds from China, I'd be negligent if I weren't at least doing random lot sampling and letting the supplier know that their product would be frequently and randomly tested.

If I were an individual sourcing something from China to put in my own  body, I wouldn't use anything that I didn't test the actual batch I intended to use.

A friend of mine in the US just started taking NMN capsules from a company called Double Wood and says she can feel results better than the ABN sublingual tablets. Has anyone else ever tried the Double Wood NMN? Also, she says she takes one capsule in conjunction with a Jarrow Brand NR with resverotrol and seems to like the combination. Does anyone else take NMN and NR simultaneously and is that dangerous in any way or have you found it to be beneficial?

I take NR daily, and NMN 3-4 times a week, and R on and off (currently on)... and have for about a year with no ill effects I can determine. Without proof, I can't say anything other than I think it helps my overall vigor and athletic performance, along with other supps I take.

It's difficult to believe that there is a difference in a molecule like NMN from one (quality) supplier to another. If there is a different effect, it may be the result of dose, composition (sublingual, powder, pill, etc) or simply placebo effect.

A quick warning about Double Wood supplements. Most of their reviews on Amazon are clearly fake. I've never seen a company with more fake reviews than them. They'll have all 5 star reviews and no 1 or 2 star reviews. A good product is going to have 1 or 2 star reviews as supplements affect everyone differently and rarely (if ever) does a supplement benefit everyone across the board. That being said this doesn't necessarily mean Double Wood makes bad products. It's just super sketchy to have all these fake reviews. I don't believe they are a manufacturer but instead buy in bulk from a manufacturer and relabel the product.

Just started to take NMN from double wood (250 mg).  Felt it on the 2nd day with a much more positive mood and more mental clarity.  On fourth day now and the feeling is noticeable shortly after taking it.  Still not feeling or noticing anything from tru niagen NR after 4 months but will continue to take that for the foreseeable future as well.  I haven't felt anything negative at present since starting NMN (and I still take NR)

Fakespot on their Amazon presence, while not totally reliable as an indicator of a supplier, does give them a "A" with 90% reliable reviews and minimal deception, so how do you come up with your opinions on them...just because they have good reviews??

Like anything, you just have to try these supplements that you hear from people you believe and see how it works for you. I have been taking ABN subliminal tablets for about 2 months now and don’t feel the same clarity, energy, focus and stamina that I first felt when I began taking NMN in a capsule form that I ran out of from a guy named Michael from Australia who had a YouTube channel My NMN Journey. He isn’t selling them anymore, so I purchased the ABN ones since they seem to get good feedback on this site. But, honestly, I don’t feel anything from them.

That ^^^ was for the entirety of their 69 products with less than 20% of reviews suspect, according to them, which I don't consider either conclusive or bad at all. If you look at their nmn results it's an "A". I've looked at 100's of fakespot grades over the years, and they are hardly conclusive or even correct in many cases, but do show egregious conduct of some reviews/vendors and/or sometimes it's competition trolls trying to discredit their competition. Caveat Emptor as always.

Oakman agree about Fakespot. The reason I made that comment is because about 5 or 6 months ago they didn't have nearly the amount of reviews that they have now. Every one of their products had 5 stars, no 1 or 2 star reviews. All the others did though. The reviews would always mention the company name. Double Wood this and Double Wood that... I always use Double Wood I trust Double Wood. If it weren't for Double Wood I wouldn't be alive...it was obvious they were fake. It doesn't mean that their products are fake or ineffective. It was just something that threw up red flags and stuck with me.

I see you registered in early July then a week later post about this amazing new brand your "friend" is using that is much better than ABN.

No activity until 3 weeks later you post that now it is you, and for 2 months now some other brand is much more effective that ABN.

Doesn't sound credible at all, imo.
