Short story is I'm pretty sure I have NMDA hypofunction (bizarre reactions to alcohol, low motivation, etc). Worth noting that dopaminergics do not help me and instead give me anxiety, e.g. Uridine, Tyrosine, etc, which makes me think it's an NMDA thing i.e. the dopamine isn't being distributed correctly. Additionally I'm an excellent responder to piracetam but that has a host of side effects and is a rather harsh drug for me.

Wondering if glycine is what I'm looking for? An NMDA modulator that's mild? Seems to have various good research behind it too but hardly talked about in this community, I believe that's because most here have the opposite problem and look for NMDA antagonists.

Thanks
