Microfibres have now entered most fish in our oceans. is the risk to benefit ratio of eating fish worth it? how dangerous are these microfibres to humans?

is there any other way to get the nutritional benefits of fish without the microfibres?

The only real benefit of fish are the omega-3 fats.

If you cut out sources of omega-6 fats and included more flaxseeds. You will be able to synthesize the same fats from fish (EPA/DHA), within your body.

I eat a lot of sardines with 5 tabs of Chlorella, at least 3 times a week.

The most recent toxicological studies still stand by fish consumption by a large margin.

That is not necessarily true. Most studies warn against eating fish high on the food chain and recommend eating a moderate amount of smaller forage fish low on the food chain. Of course this advice is due to the contamination of heavy-metals, dioxins and other pollutants that are found in fish.

Not eating fish.

Alternative omega3s:

  • Ground flaxseed
  • Chia seeds
  • Walnuts
  • Flaxseed oil stocked at low temperatures
  • Vegan DHA

Alternative amminoacids:

  • All other dietary sources of amminoacids

Alternative B12:

  • All other dietary or supplemental sources of B12
