The skincare junkie being me. Trust me I have likely 5-10 thousand dollars in beauty products at home, I know my skincare. Would like to think it was my supplements that faded the massive sun damage, but it wasn't. Here is my story.
Got a buy one get one free at the Dermstore for a beauty box for like 30 bucks (no longer avail). Each contained a $60 5 oz bottle of NIA24 2% for decollate and arms. The other items in the boxes were icing on the cake.
Was just using this on my arms, and one day realized they were looking shades lighter. So, I decided to conserve it and use it on my decollate and hands only. Didn't give it another thought.
Got my picture taken for my 55th birthday and said WTF? Where is my horrible sun damage I had for decades? Hubby even said, it is definitely going away. And I have before and after pics, but am pic shy in public.
Days ago I tried the cheaper decollate cream on my face and it is looking brighter every day.
I have been using MitoQ for years, and yes it works, but nothing like this at all! I had been using both together by the way. When I run out of Mitoq, the company who has been recently price gouging, I will try NIA24 by itself.
So how much damage did NIA24 reverse on my decollate?
I would have to say so far about 80% of massive damage.
Is this permanent?
Seeing how MITOQ works, I would imagine not. It took 6 weeks for optimal results and 6 weeks for my skin to go right back to how it was after discontinuing it.
Will I stop using NIA24 to see what happens?
Not a chance. But I am going to purchase the 5% face cream.
