Where exactly are stem cells stored in the body? Like are there reserves in every tissue or where are they exactly in that particular tissue? Obviously (I assume) they're all over the place but where in those places?

If you could induce pluripotent stem cells taken from your body (and apparently you can) out of a certain area, and then put them back, where would you put them exactly? If you wanted to start replacing all cells with younger versions and have it be permanent, how would you do it? How would you get them to the place where they once were or where they need to go for all basic functions and life extension in general?

I saw a video criticizing some of the stem cell treatments out there and probably rightfully at least in some cases he's right, but surely they have great potential.

Are there any videos explaining this whole thing really well? If so post them, or just post your answer below.

I've often wondered the same thing watching my youngster growing before my eyes. I think I've read its been verified we still have plenty of stem cells even in extremely old age but they are trapped in old stiff tissues and unable to be activated for wound repair and maintenance.

I did Google this which is kind of why I wrote that I knew they were spread throughout tissue, but maybe I should have posted more detail:

Adult stem cells have been identified in many organs and tissues, including brain, bone marrow, peripheral blood, blood vessels, skeletal muscle, skin, teeth, heart, gut, liver, ovarian epithelium, and testis. They are thought to reside in a specific area of each tissue (called a "stem cell niche").

I think what I was asking is, where is the Niche? But I'll just Google around till I find everything and post it here.
