I'm not trying to treat any specific condition (I do have high sensitive c-reative however, of 7), but also I'm middle-aged (female) and it seems like a good thing to start taking now.

I have my bottle sitting on my dresser but haven't opened it yet... recently I read or heard something about taking a lot of antioxidant being harmful, and C60 is 170x or something more potent as an antioxidant than Vitamin C. So I don't know if this is a concern or not (and of course, as with all health/wellness topics you find people saying it's bad and it's great. So I don't know what to believe.). Any thoughts on this?

I guess I'll try it for at least a while and see how I feel. But I'm unsure of the proper dosing. I've been reading through the forums and seeing so many different dosing strategies.

I ordered the extra strength version from the company that makes the pets version, so my bottle has 1.2mg of C60 fullerene per 1.0ml olive oil.

Based on some info I found online, I was thinking of a starting dose of 1.5 Tbsp for 10 days, and then switching to a maintenance dose of 2 tsp per day.  Does that sound about right? Is this daily every day for as long as I decide to take it, or should I take breaks from it?  I've read some people her not taking it every day, taking it for a month each year? If I was understanding correctly.

Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi- my first post mind you.

I have been taking c60 for 3 weeks. I have had some bad symptoms such as acute depression with neurological

deficits as well.(balance problems-scrambled thoughts- fogginess). This is

exactly how I react when I have a detox problem from supplemental glutathione or methyl folate.

Ive been off c60 for 4 or 5 days and the symptoms are still strong.

If you have  any kind of problem detoxifying I would suggest caution with your dosing.

The way I'm looking at it now, is the Risk to Reward might not be beneficial to me, I'm in my mid-40's and this big question around if C60 causes tumor growth is kind of concerning.

If I had some ailment or I was older, maybe then it's worth the unknown risk(s).

You should not have such symptoms from C60. Where did you get it?

I got my

C60 from SES research inc.

I saw another thread here on Longecity concerning C60 and depression.

A few people had similar symptoms to mine. I know that my detox pathways

are pretty compromised. That confirmed by my naturopath. So I would not be shocked

if I am a poor candidate for C60.

I wanted to ask if anyone knew how long it takes for C60 to finally cycle through the system?

However Im sure that would be different for everyone.

My symptoms are somewhat debilitating and I am hoping to recover soon. (understatement)

There should not be any detox involved with C60, and I wouldn't buy C60 oil from SES. They have the strange idea that this stuff is good for 3 years. It isn't, and when the oil ages and becomes rancid, C60 can turn into a pro-oxidant and collect all sorts of adducts with unknown effects. Also I wouldn't take it every day. C60 stimulates stem cells (in addition to its action as an antioxidant), and stimulating stem cells in an uncontrolled fashion can deplete your stem cell pools. In the 2012 paper that got people excited, the rats got it once every two weeks for six months (except for the first week) and lived 90% longer. But that isn't going to correlate well with humans, who live 20 times longer.

so the ses oil has a best by 8/19-but no date of "manufacture".

I ordered carbon60oliveoil.com  -It has NO date of any kind on the brown glass bottle.

I wonder if I should send it back.

Im still dealing with depression although it has lifted a bit.

I have every symptom of excess acetylcholine.

I don't know if the c60 is to blame or something else.

I am unsure about experimenting with c60 again and if so how much how often.

any advice?

Myself, my mother-in-law, and father-in-law all had a detox period of about 1 week.

any advice?

I started with carbon60oliveoil.com in November 2017.  My personal dextox had me drinking ~200 ounces of water (because I was so thirsty) and peeing every 15 minutes.  I was so worried I would have to stop.  My mother-in-law and father-in-law experienced ~1 week of depression and extreme fatigue (they did not want to get out of bed) before my mother-in-law was WOWed by the positive effects.

Personally, I found that the C60 removed my social anxiety, but I can see how the detoxing could be negative.  You can listen about the C60 detox effect here at 26 minutes and 30 seconds in: https://youtu.be/jVtv1nveO8c?t=26m32s

I now take the red lion product because I found that I had a stronger positive reaction to the product.

Personally, I found that Front loading with 1 tablespoon a day for 5 days then going to 1 teaspoon has been the best.  I got this from my research here on longecity and:
https://d3v4uqhphcwl...3_1024x1024.png  or  https://livepetllc.c.../c60-dogs-8-oz/

https://www.youtube....h?v=VAqPmssQ2BQ

The reason behind dosage from livepet is because of their actual studies on pets from the following:

Clinical Trial 1 by LivePet “Safety and Efficacy of a Test Compound (Companion 60) on the Quality of Life in Dogs Over 3 Years of Age”, LRI Study Number: 14.5155.001, Nov 2014.
Clinical Trial 2 by LivePet, “Determination of an Optimal Dosing Regimen of a Test Compound (Companion 60) for a Consistent Reduction in Systemic Inflammation”, LRI Study Number: 14.5155.002, May 2015.

I can't seem to find it right now, but I am pretty sure I read somewhere that c60 stays in your body for 6 days before being completely flushed out, so stopping it today will not allow it to flush out for several days.  I could be wrong with the 6 days, someone feel free to correct me with the research.

Hope that helps!
