So I knew there were some risks associated with it, however after going to the 'internist' (im dutch, im not sure what this type of doctor is called in english) yesterday they decided to do an xray of my lower and upper abdomen. Since that I have been nauseated as hell, cramps and general feeling of 'somewhat off', wouldnt necesarrily call it sick but just feeling off.

Is it normal to have some form of nausea after an abdomen area xray?? for all it matters I have increased risk of crohn and inflammation, I even told the friggin doctor this.

Now I found this and what the actual f**k...:

Are X-rays really safe?

  • Upper gastrointestinal exam:
Equivalent to 2 years of natural background radiation
  • CT abdomen:
Equivalent to 2.7 years of natural background radiation

Seems to have subsided (for now?) very odd, im normally never as nauseated as that or get discomfort in the lower abdomen.

Unrelated to the grapes eating in the resveratrol section as after eating the grapes the nausea actually disappeared.
