Hi, I am Yamu, I am very interested in anti-aging and have read a lot about this topic.I found that  chamomile may help to delay aging.Chamomile can be a good gift, we can buy chamomile as a gift to friends who don't want to take drugs.

My self-introduction :https://www.longecit...na/#entry868085

Efficiency of Chamomile

Chamomile contains apigenin and quercetin, apigenin is an inhibitor of CD38, CD38 is one of the main cellular NADases in mammalian tissues and appears to regulate cellular levels of NAD in multiple tissues and cells.CD38 levels increase in tissues with age and correlate with NAD+ decline[1].Apigenin is an activitor of AMPK and SIRT1 as well as inhibitor of the NAD+ ase CD38,pharmacological inhibition of CD38 results in higher intracellular NAD(+) levels[2].Auercetin is an activitor of AMPK and SIRT1[3], Auercetin can also inhibit CD38(maybe AMPK activitors have some mechanism that can inhibit CD38).

Potential Efficiency of Chamomile:

1、Activate SIRT1 can reduced oxidative stress by FOXO3a deacetylation[4].

2、Prevent neurodegenerative disorders( Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Huntington’s and so on) of ageing. Promote NAD+, activate AMPK and SiIR1 can prevent and cure neurodegenerative disorders[5].

3、Prevent cancer.NAD+ decline is a cause of thymus atrophy[6], thymus atrophy rising cancer incidence[7]. NAD+ decline reduces the ability of DNA repair.DNA damage is a cause of cancer too.[9]What's more, apigenin can prevent cancer by activate PI3K/Akt/mTOR[8].

4、Anti-aging. NAD+ and sirtuins decline can cause aging and related diseases.[9]

5、Improve the quality of sleep. SIRT1 regulates biological clock, activate SIRT1 can improve the quality of sleep.

The anti-aging material that chamomile contains is not too much,if you want to reverse aging, you should take more anti-aging dietary supplement or drugs.
