I'm looking into buying this bulk on alibaba.
I've received quotes from $780-$5500 per kg.
Most quotes are around the $1500/kg range.

Is there something special about this molecule that makes it extra difficult to manufacture?

One supplier that gets great reviews says that if the price is to low than its definitely fake since it's very hard to manufacture. This is the supplier that is asking in the 5k/kg area so I'm not sure if he's just trying to scam.
