It seems as if every other week a new study comes out contradicting one set of held beliefs or the other. There are studies or analyses contradicting high fat, studies or analyses contradicting high carb diets, ones contradicting meat based diets, ones contradicting what fats are good, if any fats are good, what's good for insulin resistance, what's good for cholesterol numbers, and on and on and on.
So, what are the absolutes we have or are aware of?
Is it an absolute that, when in doubt do mediterranean diet?
When in doubt, take specific supplements?
When in doubt, close your eyes and hope for the best?
I mean seriously, what do we have that we can state is a near absolute in terms of what we can at lest try to do and may possibly effect something macroscopically?
