"It might take a little lawyering, but I don't remember can create a fact issue for a perjury conviction. Video interviews, emails that exist, and an adverse inference instruction for emails that are not produced". Plus direct evidence from people that cut a deal with the prosecution."

Video interviews and emails are the past, and it is all potential federal charges that have been pardoned, including possible perjury during congressional testimony or testimony to other federal agencies, e.g., or during FBI interviews. Any potential Federal charges that might have resulted from his actions during the period of 2014 to the day of his pardon are now off the table.

If he was to be brought before a congressional committee today and put under oath he couldn't invoke the fifth amendment owing to a claim of potential self-incrimination, because he can't be incriminated due  to his pardon. He must answer, but like I said in an earlier post, he will just answer "I don't recall".

There are no "direct evidence" deals to be cut. Direct evidence means nothing. He has been pardoned.

The States might be able to find a way to charge him with something. However, it might be a tough job to find something that can't be related, directly or tangentially,  to his pardoned federal potential crimes.

At this point I'd be happy to get the truth out of Anthony Fauci at long last. His prosecution would be desirable but is less important than the world having a widespread understanding of exactly what happened with respect to the origin and response to SARS-CoV-2.

But, like you say "I don't remember" will be his go to answer.

However, even that will be illustrative. If the smartest man in the world, Mr. Science himself answers "I don't remember" a few hundred times under sworn testimony (a likely number) that will make the point that he's been doing a lot of lying for the last 5 years.

He's been lying at least since he pushed AZT in the 80's.

Whitewashing AIDS History

Dr. Anthony Fauci is rewriting history. He is doing so to disguise his shameful role in delaying promotion of an AIDS treatment that would have prevented tens of thousands of deaths in the first years of the epidemic.

Had Fauci listened to people with AIDS and the clinicians treating them, and responded accordingly, he would have saved thousands of lives. In the two years between 1987, when Callen met with Fauci and 1989, when the guidelines were ultimately issued, nearly 17,000 people with AIDS suffocated from PCP. Most of these people might have lived had Fauci responded appropriately.

Seems very much like his handling of Covid 19. He, along with big pharma buried Ivermectin and HCQ - effective therapeutics - in order to obtain an EUA for the experimental Covid 19 vaccines. Not only did they all deny these drugs were effective, they took away the right of the public to use them. Pharmacists were instructed to refuse to fill the prescriptions. Doctors that prescribed them were canceled, or lost their jobs and/or licenses. Meanwhile they got approval for Remdesivir, which seems to do more harm than good.

Come-on, this will be temporary!

However, if persistent and not an overreaction, it will be likely worse than censorship exercised by previous Administration via social and MSM during the pandemics and probably for worse reasons:

I suspect this is temporary and we will have much more transparency going forward. It truly cannot get any worse than we have right now.

Let me put my tinfoil hat on.

Perhaps this move is to protect from another "pandemic of fear". Over the last couple of months, US "health" agencies have been trying to scare the crap out of the public with bird flu hysteria and the "quademic" - what ever that is supposed to be (just another cold and flu season). Trump administration officials remember how it went the last time around. Curtailing the "voice" of the corrupt "health" agencies, protects from a regular cold and season being fraudulently portrayed as the deadliest pandemic ever (like last time).

In a couple of months It will be helpful to look back on this period and see if the "quademic" totally destroys the world, like "health" agencies are essentially predicting, or if it is a total failure of public health authorities like when the forecast the "severe winter of disease and death", in 2021, and the most awful deadly cold and flu season in 2022, and the apocalyptic flu season of 2023. With their track record - they should be silenced until new, smarter, and more ethical leaders are installed.

US media outlets were getting millions of dollars from the Biden administration all through the COVID panic.

Now you know why unscientific propaganda and irrational fear narratives were being spread in 2020 - all the way through today.

I still don't know if most people realize the incredibly massive scale of the propaganda campaign they were subject to during the COVID panic. Nearly everything you heard, nearly everything you saw, was being carefully managed to get you to behave in an irrational, panic-stricken, and unscientific manner.

Why did Dr. Fauci need a pardon? Why has the CDC and FDA been lying (proven and admitted) and hiding data from the public? What the hell was in those shots?

The real eye opener for me was that USAID - not an infectious disease or other health related agency - sent almost $40 million to the Wuhan Institute of Virology via Peter Dazak and the EcoHealthAlliance. In fact the vast majority of the funding the federal government sent WIV came through this unlikely agency.

https://www.msn.com/...rch/ar-AA1ylAf0

Dr. Fauci only admitted to sending $600k to WIV (also via EcoHealthAlliance) and I think eventually that number got up to around $2M.  Clearly Dr. Fauci at NIAID, Francis Collins at NIH, and Rochelle Walensky at the CDC would have been aware of this enormous amount of funding as they all (particularly Fauci) worked closely with Dazak at EcoHealthAlliance in funding WIV's gain of function research into bat derived coronaviruses. It is simply not plausible that they were not aware and in fact almost certainly involved in getting that amount of money to WIV via EcoHealth.

Yet, when repeatedly asked questions about funding sent to WIV they never volunteered this information.

They would probably argue that "Well, we were never asked specifically if USAID ever sent money to WIV" which is probably true. But clearly they have had no interest in seeing the truth get out about the extent of the federal government's involvement in funding gain of function research in China.

These people constantly wrap themselves in the cloak of "the science". Science is supposed to be about the pursuit of truth. Yet obviously these individuals have no interest in seeing that the truth gets out. Just the opposite in fact.

Frankly, I'm getting pretty damned tired of being lied to about all this.

Some more examples of the deception that was created by the US government - paying Rueters for "Large Scale Social Deception"

Despite recent efforts by the new administration to create transparency, some in the US government are still hiding information about the origins of COVID.

Most people still do not understand the power of money during the whole COVID debacle. Hundreds of billions of dollars buys a lot of influence. The perks - like $20,000 per flight for Peter Daszak to have luxury air travel in business class, are tough for the "perpetrators" to give up. (and, I know he claims he needed the extremely expensive air travel around the world because of "back problems").

Pfizer has released its list of side effects for the Covid 19 vaccine.

Pneumonia  is on the list. I was diagnosed with Pneumonia less than 4 months after getting the second shot. Fortunately I did not have "foaming at the mouth", or "sudden death".

Reading this thread you should have a grasp of the widescale deception and propaganda that occurred during the COVID panic.

Believe me, it was worse and more widespread than you can imagine. $400,000,000 used in part to promote unscientific COVID narratives.

"Take USAID. Many Americans are now in an uproar because they they learned about over $400,000,000 going to an organization called Inner News, whose chief Jeanne Bourgeault boasted to Congress about training hundreds of thousands of people in journalism. But her views are almost identical to Carrie's. She gave a talk once about building trust and combating misinformation in India during the pandemic. She said that after months of a really beautifully unified COVID nineteen message, vaccine enthusiasm rose to 87%."

re: Post # 1036

The cited X post says, "Inner News". There is no such organization. There is, however, an organization called "Internews". For which the president and CEO is Jeanne Bourgault.

This source says the most recent grant from USAID to Internews was about $4.5 million, not the nearly 1/2 billion claimed on X. There have been lesser grants to Internews prior to the $4.5 million, including grants from the first Trump presidency (courtesy of the Deep State no doubt).

I was skeptical of the $450,000,000 claim, hence my research into it (did that amount not ring alarm bells for any others here, I wonder. It should have.).

$4.5 million is a lot of money, but before passing on "information" I suspect it would be a good idea to verify facts before posting some "information" which is likely to be forwarded on to others as fact.

Here is a good explanation about how the "traditional media" tries to promote narratives instead of scientific understanding - which happened continually during the COVID panic.

...................

The claim of 400 million dollars (over the course of 17 years) for Internews, came from WIkileaks.

Just a little "inside baseball". Being a member of "the media" I get invites to "training" sessions, which are mostly just forums where the host/guest just tells reporters what to say about a particular topic.

The last one, which I missed sadly, was on vaccines. This "training" session came out (last week), as it looked likely that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be confirmed as HHS Secretary.

Description: Vaccines are a cornerstone of public health, and recent innovations, such as mRNA vaccines, have transformed vaccine development by enabling faster and more adaptable responses to emerging threats like COVID-19. SciLine’s next media briefing will highlight research on diseases that have been curbed by vaccines, the causes and effects of declining vaccination rates, and vaccine development and the role of the federal government in the process. Two experts will have short conversations with SciLine’s moderator and then take questions on the record.

I wanted to attend so I could ask questions (backed by peer-reviewed evidence) of the presenters - given their pre-ordained viewpoints.

One question would be why the NIH has never done a retrospective study on vaccine effectiveness and mortality rates. They have been asked but refuse to do the study. Watch this video at about the 37:30 mark. Amazing the the NIH said they would "never" do a retrospective study. What are they afraid of?

The USAID scandal is huge in regards to the COVID panic. They gave money to the Wuhan Institute, then were funding unscientific narratives about COVID leading everyone into mass vaccination.

Take the vaccine debate for example: The pattern manifests before the explanation - people passionately debate efficacy without realizing the entire framework was constructed. First, they fund the research. Then they fund the media to shape the narrative. Even skeptics often fall into their trap, arguing about effectiveness rates while accepting their basic premise. The moment you debate 'vaccine efficacy,' you've already lost - you're using their framework to discuss what is, in reality, an experimental gene therapy. By accepting their terminology, their metrics, their framing of the discussion itself, you're playing in their constructed reality. Each layer of control is designed not just to influence opinions, but to preemptively structure how those opinions can be formed.

Remember all of the fake doctors and nurses that were on social media claiming that they were seeing terrible conditions and a lot of death in the emergency rooms during the COVID panic? I wonder if USAID was behind these fake accounts. Sadly, a lot of people still believe those social media posts were true.

Nah, there wasn't any need for fake anything; I remember reports of people dying like flies in hospitals in New York City and Italy at the start of the pandemic. And millions of excess deaths. Maybe that was all a lie, but if you believe that, you might as well believe that the earth is flat.

You know what the alternate explanation is - iatrogenic deaths - from ventilators, remdesivir, lockdowns, isolation, withholding of standard pneumonia care etc. - which is all well reasoned and documented. Also well-documented is how deaths from COVID were wildly overcounted.

In addition, the public was consistently lied to and given unscientific ultimately useless protocols to follow. Even the fear-mongering leaders of the COVID panic like Dr. Birx (who admitted to lying to the public previously), is now trying to rewrite history and say "the COVID injection was never meant for all people and never proven to prevent infection". If she was honest and brave, she would have said that when the COVID injections were rolled out.

The number of people who still believe everything that they were told during the COVID panic is dwindling. Even the leaders of this public health debacle are now trying to change the narrative to make themselves look better - not defending what they did during the panic.

Let's see what you'd have to believe for your "just the flu" theory to work.

  • Ventilators, withholding of standard pneumonia care killed millions. ER docs were incompetent throughout the entire pandemic in all countries, somehow forgot about "standard pneumonia care," and almost no one noticed these docs killed millions. Also, the flu doesn't kill people, ER docs do.
  • Remdesivir killed millions by someone faking the clinical trials or covering up tons of clinical trial deaths, covertly distributing it to every country, and almost no one noticed.
  • Lockdowns and isolation killed millions by an unusual depressive syndrome that almost no one noticed.

Gee, I'm sure glad Mind noticed!

Just another documentation of how a mostly useless and somewhat dangerous "vaccine" (for COVID) was approved. The decision was political, not scientific. Warnings from respected scientists were ignored. You know the story.

The only question is why so many people still believe what the US "health" bureaucracy says, about COVID or anything else - after all the documented failures, lies, and unscientific pronouncements.

Interesting opinion in perspective. Refreshing in the post-truth, alternate reality and facts. I praise the 1st term DJT administration for having quickly de-blocked about $0.5b to get to vaccines and having saved lives. Still waiting for serene lesson learnt on global scale.

A lot of CYA going on now, between Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, and the awful US media. Seen in the Boston Globe recently, "COVID lockdowns produced more harm than good".

This is the same awful US media that was PAID billions of dollars to harass and belittle anyone who said anything against the COVID policies a couple of years ago. The lockdowns, masking, and social distancing were not proven nor scientific. Many people pointed this out when the COVID pandemic panic began. Many of them were censored and/or fired. Many even got death threats.

Where are the apologies? You won't get any from the US media or the US government. There hasn't even been a true reckoning about the whole COVID pandemic panic. No apologies from Stanford University who is still censuring a professor for his CORRECT positions on the COVID pandemic panic.

As far as rebuilding public confidence the biggest thing they can do is stop lying. Stop pretending that the public are children and that they are the wise sages and that they are allowed to tell "noble lies" for our own benefit.

The people have an intuition that they are being lied too, even if they don't know the technical merits of the situation. And when public officials are caught out lying, the ramifications go well beyond whatever current crisis is at hand. Witness the falloff of all vaccinations after the issues with the covid-19 vaccines have come to light.

Basically our public leaders should treat us like adults, give us the facts, and try to convince us rather than force us.
