Kimer Med has just launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise capital for the next round of testing:

We need your support!

Hi Kimer, any progress on your experiment?

I would suggest you to do a crowdfunding at indiegogo or similar platform.

Thanks for asking, yes, lots of progress, though calling what we're doing an "experiment" isn't quite right (even though it does involve a bunch of experiments!).

We did a crowdfunding campaign last December; we're well past that phase now. (Oh, and FWIW, Indiegogo wouldn't accept us, since the company is based in New Zealand).

If you'd like to follow our progress, we have an email list:

We also post occasional updates on our forum:

We've made progress on things like the fabrication process and various aspects of characterizing the compound(s). The end-to-end process is more complex than you might think. We have also developed a fair number of academic and commercial partnerships. And more.

We're working as quickly as we can, but any way you cut it, modern drug development is unfortunately a very slow process.

Why you need to do the fabrication process? Shouldn't you outsource to cheap manufacturer in china?

All you need to do is talk to vet, outsource the manufacturing process, test on animal, observe the result?

To me, it is as simple as that.

I don't want to get into the details here of how and why we run our business the way we do, but trust me when I say that things just don't work that way.

Not even close.

Can you do a fund raising, with specific goal, like what experiement you gonna do, scope, how long, possible outcome etc.

Right now, you are raising fund with no specific goal, and this is hard.

Do a fund raising on a fund raising platform with specific goal, many will support you, including me.
