So Reishi is supposed to improve your sleep, which was the reason for me trying it. Took 1000mg of ND's 1:1 Reishi extract before bed. I normally can only be asleep for 2.5hours max before waking up and then attempting to go back to sleep. I repeat this cycle this 3 times a night. With Reishi, I can only stay asleep for 1.5hours before waking. This is bad as I want to extend my time being asleep, not shorten it. I waited a week before giving it a second chance, and the exact same thing happened. Anyone have any hypothesis as to why Reishi is causing this side effect?
tldr: It shortens my sleep cycles.
