They increased telomere length and reduced senescent cells using 100% oxygen hyperbaric chamber (HBOT).

Wonder what it would be like if they used Ozone:

Long-term ozone exposure is positively associated with telomere length in critically ill patients
https://pubmed.ncbi....h.gov/32417614/

"Results: Contrary to our hypothesis, TL increased across exposure quartiles in both ozone and PM2.5 analyses (p < 0.05). In a regression model controlling for potential confounders, long term ozone exposure was significantly associated with an increase in TL in the entire cohort (0.31 kb per 10 ppb), as well as in subgroups with sepsis, trauma and ARDS (all p < 0.05). In multivariable models, entire-year exposure to PM2.5, PM10, CO, NO2 and SO2 was not associated with TL after adjustment for potential confounders. In an analysis restricted to warm-season levels to assess the effect of seasonality, higher warm-season PM2.5 and CO exposures were independently associated with longer TL."

Ozone is dangerous, since it's oxidizing and produces free radicals.

But since HBOT has been found to cause stem cells to proliferate in numbers, then I'm wondering if the HBOT could be done in connection with taking NAD/NR/NMN  to improve the quality of those replicating stem cells at the same time?

It seems to me that you'd also want to take anti-oxidants as well, to mitigate the effects of oxygen toxicity.

How do you know the 'benefits' aren't due to oxidative stress?

Oxidation, like inflammation, is only dangerous if it is chronic. Intermittently it has the opposite effect..probably through hormesis.

New considerations on hormetic response against oxidative stress
https://www.ncbi.nlm...les/PMC4390794/
"Mild oxidative stress has been proposed as a positive hormetic event; minor protein and lipid oxidative damage may have prophylactic effects over certain diseases associated to aging, that otherwise could cause cellular death and tissue damage (Yan 2014). Aging has also been associated with a pro-inflammatory phenotype in mammals due to the incremented expression of genes related to immune and inflammatory response like NFκB, as well as high-serum cytokine levels such IL-6 and TNF-α. This low-grade pro-inflammatory state during aging has been named “Inflammaging” and it has been proposed that macrophages participation, cellular stress and genetic factors of such condition contribute to predispose the organism to develop age-related diseases (de Magalhaes et al. 2009).

Appling the hormesis theory to the aging research, Rattan and coworkers in various sets of experiments performed within human fibroblasts in vitro, showed that repetitive exposure to mild heat as stressor has hormetic effects against several biochemical and aging parameters such as lower protein oxidation increased proteasome activity and antioxidant enzymes, resistance against ethanol, H2O2 and UV-B radiation, etc. (Rattan 2006)."

A few years ago I had over 45 sessions of HBOT.  I did it as an adjunct to the stem cell transplant I had.

I wonder if the HBOT treatments also help shorten my telomeres.

I wish I could have more...

P.S. Here's a thread with DareDevil's experience with HBOT.
