I need this communities brains help.
I have been dealing with dandruff aka sebboreic dermatitis sicca. This is essentially the non inflamed form of the disease. No redness just flaking and dry flaking and its only local to my scalp and unfortunately my beard. My skin is not dry but i still flake. This is clearly an internal issue.
Here is what i tried with extensive periods that never worked including topical and oral. B6 b2 b3 b1 b12 b5. Vitamin C. Collagen. Histidine. Taurine. Glycine. Acv rinse. Topical azelaic acid. Topical head and shoulders. Nizoral shampoo. Organic coconut based shampoo. Iodine. Topical iodine. Inositol. TMG. Magnesium. Vitamin A (makes things way worse)
Ive literally tried so many herbs too. Nothing works.
I came upon this research recently
https://www.jidonlin...(15)48320-4/pdf
The researchers discovered that oral b6 wasnt effective even after long time high dose consumption but topical application of a alcohol based b6 was highly effective.
Whats going on here. Why would b6 not work orally but work topically?
