Eating everything in excess is unhealthy, of course.
However, I've been eating 60 grams of fresh turmeric for the past 2½ years to get a good dose of curcumin.
Yesterday I briefly read about turmeric being high in oxylates and that WHO recommends no more than 12g turmeric per day.
So now I'm thinking if I should switch to pills instead - one of the many curcumin extracts that are on sale all over the web.
What do you guys think? Am I doing myself a bear service eating this much fresh turmeric?
