What are people's experiences with Modafinil?

 

Does it improve work performance? Has anyone ever either themselves or someone they know take Modafinil and then become better or work or even get a promotion?

 

What about when studying for exams? Do you think it is actually possible to get better grades because of it?

 

What about learning a new language or skill for example learning to play a musical instrument etc?

I have ADD and before my diagnose became official I couldn't get a prescription for real stimulant medication. So I tried modafinil to aid me in concentration at work. But no, I didn't notice any affect whatsoever. Maybe a bit more awake, which is what it really is for of course.

Have been using modafinil for quite a long time and it has increased my potential to work.
