Hello friends. A good friend of mine is currently experiencing cognitive and motivational issues following discontinuation of kratom after fairly long-term use and is experiencing some PAWS symptoms. He says general brain fog and lack of motivation are the main issues. While I'm in no position to say with any degree of certainty what specifically may have been altered or modulated in his noggin, I would hazard to guess that either some neurotransmitter imbalance may have been effected, or the related receptors may have up/downregulated beyond their optimal state. One way or another, it has been several months since cessation of use and he is still in a bit of a funk. Can anyone please recommend either specific supplements that are known to help with opioid recovery (cognitively speaking), or otherwise offer some decent speculation on what neurological systems/processes may have been disrupted, so as to indicate which paths might best be pursued? I'm thinking l-tyrosine/fish oil/curcumin, and perhaps oxiracetam/CDP choline might be a good place to start, but that's based on rather general indications, and something specifically indicated for neurotransmitter disfunction might be more useful. Thanks,

David
