Regarding the vaccines, I think this is a question we All should be asking as members of a longevity-promoting website.

There is an assumption that there weren't any large (failed) trials that went unpublished beforehand.
This says different:
https://www.bitchute...ed/XyfClndX52hr

And, of course based on the likely forthcoming pushback, attacking that messenger, you can weight the validity and consequence.

So there was an N = 200k trial that managed to kill all but 5 patients?

I'm going to have to have more proof of that than a bitchute video.

I've never heard of a phase III trial even remotely that large. Typically a phase III is going to be several thousand people. But no where near 200k.  200k is what a popular released drug looks like after a few years.

Not to mention that in the US a phase III (or II or I for that matter) is announced beforehand. It's filed with the FDA and an announcement is made that a particular trial is recruiting subjects and the criteria for inclusion is published. Now, you can have overseas trials (for instance in China) that don't go through this process and might conceivably be kept secret but that fellow making the accusation certainly seemed American to me.

I suspect the contamination problems will give governments of the world a way out of the COVID injection liability. They will probably claim with a straight face that the injections are 100% effective but that they had no clue they were "unsafe" due to contamination.

Make Pfizer the scapegoat.  That's got to be their back up plan if the cat gets out of the bag.

Early on I thought it interesting that only the Japanese reported widespread contamination in their vaccines.  And why did Canada, and no other health agencies, discover the DNA fragments?  And why so late.  What have all the other global regulators been doing?

In other news, excess mortality is basically off-the-charts in Singapore since the rollout of the COVID injections, over 30% higher than recent years. This would normally be cause for alarm. Countries experiencing these massive spikes in excess mortality are suspiciously silent about it.

Sounds like that came from some conspiracy theory website.

Excess mortality in most countries shot up to a similar degree as soon as the COVID virus hit a country; there's nothing special about Singapore, they do NOT have an "off the charts" excess mortality, their EM is similar to other countries. You can see this for yourself by adding additional countries to the chart in your link, and noting the increase in mortality that appears when the virus arrived in the country.

The excess mortality was due to COVID, both deaths weeks after getting COVID from lung failure, as well as delayed action deaths (many studies have shown you have at least twice the risk of death in the year after getting COVID).

New study shows SUDDEN CARDIAC DEATHS IN ATHLETES HAVE FALLEN — in spite of antivaxers telling us that more athletes are dying of heart attacks after getting a COVID vaccination.

That's quite a lot of egg on the face of the antivaxers.

Well, they changed the definition of vaccine, so perhaps the definition of sudden cardiac death has been changed too?

Just teasing Hip.  This is an interesting find!

The actual study is here.

You are (without evidence) assuming this change towards more glucose utilisation that arises after COVID vaccination is detrimental, but it actually could boost health, as the following indicates:

You get a similar change in energy metabolism from the BGC vaccine: this vaccine causes a body-wide shift to using more glucose for energy, and that's why the BCG vaccination is being tried experimentally to treat diseases which have deficient aerobic glycolysis, such as type 1 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, depression and other disorders affecting the nervous system. Ref: here

A long-term clinical trial of BCG for type 1 diabetes detailed here

The systemic beneficial changes caused by the BCG vaccine are also being considered as a treatment for allergic and autoimmune diseases, see here

And I know several ME/CFS patients who are currently trying repeated shots of the BGC vaccine in order to boost glycolysis, which they hope will improve their illness. This article explains why the BGC could be beneficial for ME/CFS.

Peter McCullough is a bit of a pillock, he constantly makes false claims. Here is a list of his cock ups and false claims. Someone should invite McCullough to join Longecity; he would fit in well with all the misinformation that's posted here.

Gal220 made no such assumption. Gal220 made a statement of fact.

Gal220's post starts: "More on heart damage", and then he proceeds to explain how the COVID vaccines induce increased glucose utilisation. Therefore he implies the context of this increased glucose utilisation is heart damage. But we simply have no evidence there is any heart damage. And as explained, the increased glucose utilisation might be beneficial.

Advocatus, when you have taught yourself a bit about medical science (as opposed to your anally retentive linguistic pedantry, which is no substitute for knowledge), then your rude opinions might carry some weight. Until then, your impolite comments are meaningless. I am looking forward to the day you actually say something of scientific interest, and engage in some interesting scientific discussion. But so far, I've learnt nothing of interest from your posts.

Hip writes:

Gal220 does not "explain" anything. Gal220 asserts the fact that after a shot (COVID shot understood) there is a change in heart glucose metabolism "from preferring fatty acids to glucose". He further asserts that such a change is "A sign of a diseased/damaged heart" (note, that "A" means one possible sign). He does not assert that it is the sign of a COVID-shot-damaged heart. Your comprehension skills are sadly lacking, Hip. Adding that lack to your penchant for building straw men render your posts a veritable word salad that would make U.S. veep Harris jealous.

"Therefore he implies the context of this increased glucose utilisation is heart damage."--Huh?

"And as explained, the increased glucose utilisation might be beneficial.".

Diabetics, notwithstanding.

Note that there are differences in meaning between "assert" and "explain". There are also differences in meaning between utilisation and metabolization (I have formed the abstract noun from Gal220's "metabolism").

Hip,

If we banned people for rudeness, I'm not sure of who amongst us would be left standing. But I can say pretty confidently that you wouldn't be one of them. Believe it or not, there are people in this world that think that routinely throwing around words like "imbecile" is rude and uncivilized in the extreme.

This is one of the best examples of the pot calling the kettle black I've seen recently.

Now, I do think some times your posts are being rated unfairly. At the least I think your posts are being subjected to scrutiny that other posters are not. But you have contributed to this by the attitude you display towards other members. You've basically made yourself a target. And throwing around words like "moron" and "imbecile" are a big part of the reason you are where you are with this.

I'd love it if we could have a truce. You'd stop the attitude you display towards other members and people would be less inclined to reflexively down vote your posts. That's probably going to work better if it starts on your end, but it will require a sustained effort I suspect.

Sadly I'm not holding my breath.

Also, let me pass along a little thing I learned in grade school - once you let people know that a certain thing gets your hackles up, some people are going to keep doing that just to get a reaction out of you. I learned pretty quickly that if something really pissed me off the last thing I wanted to do was to let everyone know about it.

After the google MEDIC update (August 1, 2018 / A Date That Will Live in Infamy!); forums like this one have become invisible to searches, and many have gone dark completely.

I was group leader of a forum on MD-Junction for several years, and I'll never forget how things went dead all of a sudden, and there was just no reviving them.

We've dwindled down to a small circle of friends here, and we do tend to go 'round in circles a bit, but I'm still glad for the chance to learn & post here.

I've had some experience with forum wars, and nothing kills dialogue faster than two or more members scrapping.

Let's keep the saying: “I wholly disapprove of what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it" in mind as we prepare for a new year of stimulating debate.

Cheers Mates!

We are whittling down to a group of grumpy old men. And I say that as someone that's no teenager.  ;)

I really wish we could do something about disappearing from Google searches. Really shows you what power a company like Google or any of the social media platforms has and that it's not universally used for good.

I wonder if someone that knew something about SEOs could figure out a way to improve that situation. Unfortunately not something I'm versed in. I think every website forum I've ever been associated with has suffered a decline in favor of social media - mainly reddit and discord.

Here is an article about how to recover from the Google update. It has a few practical suggestions with regard to landing pages and About US pages to start with. The might be some information that the site administrators could use. For instance The line below LongeCity might be changed from Advocacy & Research for Unlimited Lifespans, to Advocacy and Research for Healthy Aging.

How common is this u-turn on the vaccine among doctors?

https://twitter.com/...407935893639582

""We have carried out around 3,000 to 4,000 vaccinations in my practice. And as few side effects as we saw at the beginning, This slowly became more the case over the course of the year"

We must have had 300-400 people, who have come to us with the feeling that they have had problems since the vaccination"

"There are also groups founded by doctors who also vaccinate. And then you realize they perceive the same thing in their patient clientele. People report the same complaints such as cardiac arrhythmias, insane fatigue, persistent muscle pain, nerve inflammation. This then slowly became reproducible."

"And then of course you also try to look for scientific discourse. And that was shocking to me that that wasn't possible. That was dismissed. It was actually an absolutely dogmatic and certain and rock-solid statement, this is not from the vaccination. And the more patients came, the greater the inner conflict became for me and for many doctors, who actually want the best for their patients. "

It's really down to the moderators to sort out the abuse of the rating system.

As you know, I received a 45 day ban from Mind because I was marking many of his posts in red. So now after that ban, I never use negative ratings on posts anymore. I might use a positive rating, but not a negative one.

So finding out who the chief offenders are in marking all of my posts in red, and giving them a 45 day ban I suspect would teach them not to use negative ratings also.

You may know the meaning of tendentiousness, but you have not deployed the term against others here who deserve it.

You called my regular debunking of all the unsubstantiated vaccine scares posted here an "unparalleled display of tendentiousness". But you say nothing about the fact that throughout these pandemic discussions, Gal220 has been operating on the assumption that the COVID vaccines may be causing widespread death or damage to people. In Gal220's mind, millions may have died from the vaccines. That is certainly very tendentiousness — ie, promoting a particular point of view. But you said nothing about that.

Yale researchers have identified a "chronic post-vaccine syndrome".

Here is the study: https://www.medrxiv....8266v1.full.pdf

Here is the Conclusion:

Results: The median age of participants was 46 years (interquartile range [IQR]: 38 to 56), with 192 (80%) identifying as female, 209 (87%) as non-Hispanic White, and 211 (88%) from the United States. Among these participants with PVS, 127 (55%) had received the BNT162b2 [Pfizer-BioNTech] vaccine, and 86 (37%) received the mRNA-1273 [Moderna] vaccine. The median time from the day of index vaccination to symptom onset was three days (IQR: 1 day to 8 days). The time from vaccination to symptom survey completion was 595 days (IQR: 417 to 661 days). The median Euro-QoL visual analogue scale score was 50 (IQR: 39 to 70). The five most common symptoms were exercise intolerance (71%), excessive fatigue (69%), numbness (63%), brain fog (63%), and neuropathy (63%). In the week before survey completion, participants reported feeling unease (93%), fearfulness (82%), and overwhelmed by worries (81%), as well as feelings of helplessness (80%), anxiety (76%), depression (76%), hopelessness (72%), and worthlessness (49%) at least once. Participants reported a median of 20 (IQR: 13 to 30) interventions to treat their condition.

Interesting paper. Symptoms overlap a lot with Long Covid - ME/CFS.

The info we'd really like to have is to know how common PVS is, which I don't think can be determined from this paper.

I think those symptoms may be vaccine-triggered ME/CFS.

Almost any vaccine seems to be able to trigger ME/CFS. This is not restricted to COVID vaccines.

And from people I have spoken to who developed vaccine-triggered ME/CFS, just as in this study, they report that the time between vaccination and the onset of ME/CFS symptoms is short, just a few days. With this speed of onset, it's highly probable that the vaccine is responsible.

Loncecity is corrected automatically in longevity... That's why... Don't know who had the idea if changing the name from Imminst to Longecity. The trick is changing back the name to Imminst.

I really wish we could do something about disappearing from Google searches. Really shows you what power a company like Google or any of the social media platforms has and that it's not universally used for good.

Promote other search engines that link to us like Yandex, Brave, Qwant, and duckduckgo.  I mention us as much as possible on other forums

First link on the supplements forum is  Glycine, should we be taking it?

Try searching it

Yandex - top hit  (appears to censor the least for health related searches)

Brave - first page

Qwant - first page

Duckduckgo - 2nd page

Google, nada

On the. subject of ME/CFS you might find this post to be of interest:

"I've take 3 g Niacin and 300mg Niacinamide in average the last 15 years daily, and have accomplished what seems impossible: Remission from 4 irreversible chronic diseases (symptoms of pAVK, COPD, T2D, ME/CFS). Already between 11 and 5 years ago."
