Virtually nobody is getting vaccinate anymore, in any country that I'm aware of. I asked my GP what his position is on the vaccines and he said "I got the first two and never got any boosters and I don't see any reason to change that position". I told him I had done the same and I sort of regret getting the first two Pfizers and he shrugged his shoulders and said "same here".
I imagine if new vaccine mandates were to happen there would be enormous push back. To the point of civil unrest in the US, likely other places as well.
I don't hear anyone talking about covid, reporting being sick from covid, thinking of getting boosters, etc.
Looking back on it, the pandemic was over in about 3 years in the broadest interpretation of when we were in pandemic. Maybe 2 years if you're being more narrow. Which actually fits the life cycle of prior respiratory pandemics we've had in the past (1918 pandemic, Russian flu in the early 1890s, etc) which all occurred before modern medicine. These all lasted 2-3 years. So all of our technology and treatments didn't seem to have a material impact on the duration of the covid pandemic. Did it have an impact on death toll? One would hope.
