At the risk of sounding like a joykill, how studied are Racetams, Really?

Now before we get defensive, I take both Piracetam and Aniracetam and they have vastly improved upon some aspects of my mental clarity such as brain fog and focus implementation in complex tasks.

BUT, and I will ask this again, HOW studied is it relative to variable potential side effects?

How does it effect the nervous system long term, for example?

I have witnessed many anecdotal claims of some very strange, what seem to be CNS related anxyiogenic AND Anxyiolitic reactions.

But, what about the circulatory system? The internal organs, The liver? The Kidneys?

What's the deal?
