Greetings,

so, my voice tone is usually quite low and I have to make effort to talk to the average level of loudness... unless I want to shout, that is 

 

Except when I am on Modafinil, and it's the only substance I've tried so far that makes this: my voice is instantly louder the moment I take it... and I make zero effort at talking with energy

 

What mechanism could cause this?
And how can I achieve the same result without Modafinil?
