A couple of years ago I started taking 1g of Metformin daily after reading about the possibly life extension effect.
Since that time have there been any updates and also for a person such as myself who is not diabetic and approximately 80Kg and 65 years old, is that a reasonable dosage to be taking?
Would appreciate any advice the people here can provide. Thanks so much.

I personally stopped taking it due to it lowering testosterone.
I started Berberine instead which has much of the same benefits without the horrible caveats involved in Metformin.
It also does the opposite of metformin too, and raises testosterone.
