I've had some bouts of acid reflux in the past, though this was many, many years ago and always due to poor diet choices such as overeating acidic foods, which I’ve all but erased from my diet. I have been diagnosed in the past with Borreliosis and Bartonelosis, which I have under control, though I also have bouts of symptoms from reservoirs in the body when I get stressed or fall ill. Case in point, EBV rash after I got sick with the Collagen herb mix I will now mention.

10 days ago I was working out, ate a half a bar of Chocolate, which probably relaxed my Lower Esophagus Sphincter and then decided to take a tablespoon of Collagen w/ a plant protein blend by Perfect Supplements: pumpkin seeds, Hemp Seeds and Sacha Inchi in 12oz of water. Maybe 45min later, after doing some light lifting, which initially I blamed the pain on a Halatia Hernia, the Doctor scuffed it off but I guess it is still a possibility; I developed major acid reflux and GERD symptoms w/ significant bloating, and burping whenever I ate or drank anything. I took some baking soda to calm the reflux but it just causes more gas and bloating. I still, 10 days later, have these symptoms but the acid reflux only occurs really bad at night, even if I sleep upright. Throughout the day, I am always bloated around stomach and abdomen and just burp almost Alkaline like burps as if air is stuck down there or pressure builds up. Stools are basically normal, though I get the occasional Reeeeea. I have a slight aching pain in middle of chest which feels like somewhere in my Esophagus, and I always have a lump in my throat. I woke up today with major nausea as well.

The Dr. had me get a H. Pylori test which came back negative though in that small window of the day I actually got the test felt good so it is possible I might have H. Pylori and I’m just seronegative, also considering I drank water which I was not suppose to do before the test. The Dr. says I’m fine but obviously something is wrong. I have been more fatigued, tired, headache, overall just not feeling well since. My brain keeps telling me it is H pylori, one reason being baking soda definetly made it a hundred times worse, and H, pylori generally lowers the acid level in the stomach but, nonetheless, can cause reflux symptoms in some people. All my burps feel alkaline and I’m having trouble digesting food. Plus, alkaline water makes symptoms much worse.

Now the things that initially helped it were:

- Kefir, which helped the GERD

-Polypass, supposedly for H. Pylori, a specific strain of probiotic

- Cranberry Juice and;

- Blueberries and Mulberries;

...at least these stopped the symptoms for a short amount of time. Nonetheless, it always returns.

So I have no idea what I have, how I got it, though I can pinpoint it either on the Collagen, the working out or maybe an hour or two before the Collagen, having some oysters, which I know can sometimes carry some bad pathogens.

I have hundreds of antivirals, antiparasitics antibiotics, etc., from my struggles with Borreliosis, Babesioiss and Bartonelosis over the years so if it is H. Pylori or another pathogen, I have the medicine. I just don’t want to further mess things up with them if its not this.

Someone on here said s local acting M2 agonist and H2 antagonist could help GERD... Ranitidine looks quite promising as well and can also cure psoriasis, which I have. Arginine (producing more NO) is bad for GERD, whereas Lysine (reducing Arginine absorption) should be good. Glutamine and D-Limonene also is suppose to help.

What are some drug or supplements that tighten the LES sphincter? Anything that effects neurotransmitters in the Vagus nerve has the potential to help, or hurt.
