Ah, more specifically, it extends lifespan in yeast in flies, and is associated with increased lifespan in 2 mouse models of longevity (GHRH KO and CR).

Whether it extends lifespan in mice is unknown, but I'm submitting a grant next week that will evaluate that!

Seems like it has some good anti-cancer properties aside from whether it extends life in humans.

How would one increase the amount of Lithocholic Acid produced in the gut? Is there a bacteria particularly good at this? Can it be supplemented and is there a source?

That data has been known since 2010, but yet there's so little press on lithocholate since then. In terms of how much is optimal, there's likely a U-shaped association, with too little and too much being bad for health and/or longevity.
