Can you take low dose quercetin indefinitely?

Some people say that dosages of up to 500 mg can't be taken for more than 12 weeks without a few months break.

Is this the same with lower dosages?

For what reason 500mg allegdedly can't be taken for more than 12 weeks?

I've been taking 220 mg in average per day for the last 14 years.

Would there be any substantial benefit of adding Quercetin if I already use EGCg?

I've been getting some 30-50 mg almost every day for more than 2 decades, but along with bunch of other polyphenols - just from drinking tea.  Personally, I dont feel the need for me to add even more in supplements

There are tens, or perhaps hundreds of millions of people drinking tea daily for their entire lives, so i guess its pretty safe.

But not sure about supplement capsules, as their quality, purity and processing varies

Yes, it's quite safe. At lower doses it helps cellular health; at high doses it induces apoptosis of senescent cells. The former is good to do long term. Quercetin's one of my regulars and has been for a few years. I take between 200 and 500 mg daily.
