Russia was the first to send a satellite and man into space. How is that not considered winning the space race? Yes, the US was first on the moon but Russia was not in the race. So therefore it was no contest because they weren't trying to get there. So Russia did not lose any competition. In my opinion both Russia and USA won but just in different ways.
I think Russia had other secret technology that could use to get to the moon and they did, but they didn't want to show it to the world. So the US with known technology used in conventional and not non conventional methods of technology developed a way by upgrading the type of technology we are all used to to just work more efficient.
So why for the russians to waste money and time finding new ways to improvise old technology when you already have a new type of technology to get there?
The technology I am talking about that the Russians have is Antigravity/UFO but it cannot show this to the world for many different reasons.
Yes, the US also had this anti-gravity/ufo technology (After USSR) but it was investing in a type of specific technology that also happened to be useful that helped them get to the moon. The technologies I'm talking about is quantum computers and such. which is why the US is number one in media, music, video editing, graphics card power, chip processor and all things internet related (OS,APPS, phone good for spy activity and just everyday tech). which the Russians still lack greatly as it is costly and takes a long time to perfect. But they are very advanced in many other things over the United States many times over which it prioritized over quantum technology. they have done very good job of keeping everything a secret. So if Russia had such superiority i wonder why it didnt take over the world and allow it to develop?
