Hello, all! I joined this forum for help with this topic as my Google searches led me here. I am in my late 30's and have stuttered probably my whole life. I have tried speech therapy, neuro feedback, neuro lens, TMS, medication, supplementation, hypnosis, and speech therapy. Nothing seems to work. I have also gotten my tonsils out and that didn't help that much either. The only prescription drug that seems to somewhat work is Abilify, although I'm not a big fan of the side effects. I'm looking for help and direction. I've tried Piracetam and didn't really like that and it seems to be giving me headaches. I would love to find something nootropic that I could try that would help with my fluency. My current regimen consists of L-Tyrosine, choline, B1, and DLPA. Could anyone point me in the direction of something to add? Possibly a nootropic? Amino acid? Medication? I'm open to any and all suggestions especially from people who have battled and overcome stuttering.
Thanks!
