We received an offer of 25 years of storage for about $3500. Which I scoffed at, I don't trust that any company will be around for 25 years. I'd be more interested in paying for a 1 year of storage upon birth - that should be offered, right? (we're in Europe, EU country).
Is DIYing the stem cell storage such a bad idea? No, I wouldn't just keep them in the back of the refrigerator. I'm thinking that keeping them in a solar-powered/battery-backed-up climate-controlled refrigerator in a dark corner of my prepping bunker would be more economical.
Also, I'm wondering if there's a free market for stem cells? Being a parent is expensive and we might like to have the option of selling like half of the stem cells at some point. Or I might like to use some of the stem cells for my own Biohacking, I've thought about doing stem cell therapy myself.
