Yeah but this is really quite old news. I've been using niacin for 10 years for this reason

What's new about this is self-testing, to know for sure (or not) that it raises NAD. For example, if I assumed that 300 mg NMN increased NAD (as it has in published studies), I would've missed that it didn't work at that dose for me. 1000 mg NMN did, but 600 mg of niacin/d increased NAD more than NMN. The only way to know that is to test.

This is very important empirical testing to confirm NAD levels do increase taking niacin.  

 

Was it the regular flushing niacin you used or the non-flushing?
