I recently read that a certain group of Antidepressants is linked to Dementia and mental decline.
Anticholinergika are seen as possible cause of dementia, since more patients who take them develope dementia in old age.
It is interessting to note that medication which is prescribed for problems with the digestive system or urinal tract belonging to the same group -->
Anticholinergika, has not been associated with such effects.

What do we know about this?

Could Depression be a factor in developing dementia, and not the other way round?

Any Ideas?
