So, I eat quite a lot of acidic food, mainly apples, blackberries and strawberries.

I just recently realized how damaging this can be to enamel and that damaged enamel can't be restored.

It seems like rinsing your mouth with water after eating acidic foods is recommended.

However, I was thinking if the damage could be prevented one step further by also rinsing with toothpaste?

So, instead of brushing my teeth twice per day with toothpaste, I would brush them morning and evening without toothpaste and then during the day, after eating acidic foods I would do rinsing with water + toothpaste.

Would this be a good idea?
